7.06 Consequences by KK & JG (Part IV)

TW: So what exactly did you agree to Michael? I can’t imagine Kristen and John just gave you everything you wanted without a catch.
MR: Not everything. I wanted Naked Exploding Female Robots, or at least a robotic super suit.
JG: It’s simple Tom. We give Michael the chance to look over and agree to all of his scenes and in return he doesn’t vote to veto anything.
TW: Why do I have the feeling that’s not all. [KK gets an evil grin] Annette. Please tell me you didn’t make a deal too.
JG: Very good Tom, if only Clark were as smart as you.
ED: Wait, but if neither Michael or Annette will vote for a veto then that means…?
KK: That’s right, Erica. Nobody gets to veto. Anything.
TW: You guys are horrible.
JG: No Tom, we’re magnificent.
ED: This isn’t going to be good is it?
MR: That depends on who you are.
TW: So is there any point in waiting for Allison or can we just get on with the episode already.
KK: Oh no, I’m not letting her out that easily. I want to see her suffer through this.
TW: Fine, I’ll go try and get her back in here.
[A few minutes later TW and AM return]
AM: All right, let’s just get this episode over with as quickly as possible.
KK: We cut to Lionel who is standing outside of Martha’s office talking on his iPhone.
ED: Lionel has an iPhone?
JG: Like the MB would have anything less than the best.
KK: Plus Apple is really paying well for people to advertise it.
JG: And we’re going to need all the money we can get based on how quickly we’re blowing through our special effects budget.
KK: Back to Lionel talking on the phone.
JG: “Miss Lang is becoming more and more of a liability.”
KK: We hear the voice from the phone talking about Lana’s plan to meet Lex.
JG: After a moment of thinking he tells the minion to “let her go, but make sure someone is nearby at all times. And while you’re at it I’d say it’s about time we tie up a few loose ends. Remember, keep it discreet.”
KK: He hangs up and then heads back into Martha’s office where she is still looking at the bill.
JG: Cut to a close-up of Chloe who is on the phone.
AM: Does Chloe get an iPhone?
JG+KK: No!
AM: Geez, I was just asking.
KK: She’s telling someone about what happened with her mother. “I need your help, Oliver.”
TW: Oliver? She called Oliver? She should call Clark not Oliver.
KK: What the heck is Clark going to do? She needs someone with the resources to actually help. Not throw people through walls.
TW: Clark does not throw people through walls!
JG: We zoom out to show Sex standing behind Chloe. Michael can you help us here? [JG hands MR a copy of the scene]
MR: Yeah sure. “Oh come on. Like Robin Hood can do anything to help?
JG: The shot becomes a split screen with Oliver on one side and Chloe and Sex on the other “I’ll do whatever I can.”
MR: “There’s nothing he can do Chloe. You know that.”
KK: Trying to ignore Sex. “Thanks Oliver.”
MR: [smiling] Sex is pretty hard to ignore.
KK: Just read the script Michael.
MR: Fine. “Thanks for nothing”
AM: Wait you mean for once we aren’t going to hear a bunch of Sex jokes?
KK: Honestly, I’m getting a little tired of them. But if you keep looking so happy about it I’m going to have to change my mind.
JG: “Don’t worry Chloe. I’ll get the best doctors in the country there to look at her.”
MR: “Like a doctor will be able to do anything. If your healing powers aren’t enough then no normal doctor will be.”
JG: “Chloe are you there?”
KK: “What? Yeah I’m here. I just… I just don’t think that will be enough.”
JG: “Well I’m afraid I can’t think of any other options.”
MR: “Of course he can’t, but we know someone who can. The one person who may have the resources to help.”
KK: “No. I won’t go to him.”
JG: “What?”
MR: “Face it Chloe. He’s your best, no, you only chance.”
KK: Looking desperate. “You’re right.”
JG: “Chloe? Whose right? Who are you talking to? Is Clark there?
KK: “I’m sorry Oliver, but I have to go.” Looking determined. “I have to go see Lex.” Sex looks triumphant as Chloe hangs up and her side of the screen goes away.
