7.06 Consequences by KK & JG (Part VII)

JG: In the outer office, Chloe tells Lex how she tried to heal her mother but killed her brain instead.
[AM puts her head down on the table and beats it softly]
JG: She tells him that he’s her only hope. He has to help her find a way to fix her mother. “Of course, Chloe. I’ll help however I can. First we need to understand what happened. I’ll need to have my doctors examine your mother and we’ll have to do a full work-up on you as well. We’ll figure this out.” He gently takes her arm and leads her towards the chairs next to the desk. “Tell me about your powers. How do they work?” The sound fades out for a second as we hear Lex’s thoughts. “She could be the key. Once we’ve fixed the mother I may be able to use her DNA to stabilize my subjects.”
KK: Chloe rips her arm away from him. “You just want to use me like everyone else.”
JG: Lex backs up a few steps to the desk and hits a panic button. Hope and two guards rush in. Hope fires a taser dart at Chloe. The two men grab Chloe as she starts to drop.
KK: Lex addresses Hope “Take her to the lab. Once she’s calmed down we can start working on helping her. And send some of my people to do a full nuero work-up on her mother.” He turns towards his office.
JG: Chloe’s head snaps up and the two soldiers holding her are flung away from her into a wall. She whirls on Lex. “Lex! You are going to help my mother or I will bring this building down around your ears.” Hope steps up behind Chloe and pistol whips her. Chloe drops to her knees and Lex runs back into his office.
AM: I’m getting beat up and going crazy?
KK: Yeah. Anyway, Lex grabs Lana’s arm and moves to the back wall. He touches the corner of a panel and a secret door opens. “Lex, what is this.”
JG: “Secondary escape route. You’ve got to get out now.”
KK: There’s a loud bang as the doors fly off their hinges. Chloe storms in and we see thru the doorway that the office behind her is in shambles; Hope is on the ground barely conscious with a bloody head wound. “Of course, you had to come running to protect the helpless damsel.”
JG: “Chloe, let’s talk about this.” The sofa flies towards Lex and Lana. They jump out of the way and the sofa lands to block the escape door.
KK: “Interesting powers your guards had.” The monitor on Lex’s desk turns around and the screen flashes “Security Protocols Deactivated”. Information starts scrolling across the screen.
TW: What power is this?
KK: Oh, she just stole technopathy.
ED: What?
KK: She can control computers. Super-hacking basically. Really just a faster version of what she’s been doing all along.
AM: Wait, I’m actually getting a decent power out of this episode?
KK: Michael requested it. He said he wanted it for one of his future episodes.
MR: I’ve been planning ahead.
KK: Don’t worry, I’ll make up for it.
JG: Clark runs in just as Chloe telekinetically flings Lex across the room and Lana screams. He tries to approach her. “Chloe, stop! What are you doing?”
KK: “Stay out of this Clark!” She waves a hand and Clark is flung up to the ceiling. He tries to struggle but she’s got him pinned.
JG: Lex tries to move towards her. “Chloe, I can help you if you’ll let me. Don’t do something you’ll regret.” The windows explode inward and books fly off the bookshelves and around the room.
KK: Chloe is now hovering about 6 inches off the ground as things fly around her, one of those things being Lex’s kryptonite paperweight. Oh and Chloe is glowing. Faintly, like a night light.
AM: Wait, what? Why the heck is Chloe glowing.
KK: Oh did I forget to mention? The other power Chloe absorbed earlier was the ability to glow in the dark. Like a nightlight.
ED: Cool.
AM: That is not cool. That is lame.
MR: Hey, feel sorry for the guy who had that as his only power.
AoT: Clearly Lex hired him because of his manly physique.
KK: Back to crazy Chloe. “The only thing I regret is trusting you.” And we’re picking up with the teaser scene. Hope staggers in pointing her gun at Chloe. Shift into slow motion.
JG: We can almost make out Lex yelling “Hope, don’t try it.” But Hope can’t hear him and fires. Chloe’s head turns to her in slow motion and she raises a hand that deflects the bullet back at Hope where it slams through her shoulder and into the wall behind her.
MR: But she’s not dead, right?
KK: No, Michael, it’s just a flesh wound.
JG: Back to normal time with Lex and Clark both yelling now. “You don’t know what you’re doing.” “Let me help you.” Objects fly around the room like a tornado with Chloe floating at the center.
KK: Lana stands up. “Chloe, stop this!” A large mirror flies off the wall, breaks in half, and flings towards Lana. The camera once again rushes towards her as she screams, but now we know it’s from the POV of the mirror coming at her. Then cut to a wider shot as Lana’s body falls to the ground dead. But the shot only includes my torso and legs, no head in sight. And we smash to commercials.
MR: And fans everywhere cheer.
AoT: Except the Lana fans.
KK: Yeah but who cares what they think.
ED: Oh my god! Did you just kill Lana? Why would you do that?
KK: Gee, let me think for a second.
