7.15 Masquerade by KK & MR (Part VI)

KK: And we're back in Vic's lair. Lois is standing over him as he works on Chloe's laptop. He shakes his head. "It's all gone. All her evidence has been destroyed."
ED: "How can we be sure it was there to begin with?
KK: "I can recover remnants of her database, but they're fragmented and corrupted." He opens the files so we can see the partial documents with incomplete sentences. Chloe's database of mutants and powers is full of gibberish. "Everything she had on the aliens, mutants, the Luthors; it's all been wiped. I've never seen anything like it. It's like they used an intelligent computer virus to destroy only this information and cover their tracks."
ED: Wait, who wiped it?
KK: Chloe did. She used her technopathy to destroy the files and make it impossible to reconstruct them before she went in for Lex's cure.
ED: Why?
KK: So that if anything happened to her, Clark would be protected.
TW: And how are you going to tell the audience that?
KK: They're smart; they'll figure it out on their own. Keep going.
JG: You are talking about Smallville's audience right?
KK: The ones who matter will figure it out. Now I said, keep going.
ED: "What do we do now? You said we needed Chloe's research."
KK: "Lionel may have been able to silence Chloe's legacy, but the proof is out there."
ED: "Where?"
KK: "We'll have to get proof from the source. Lionel's own penthouse."
ED: "Sure, we'll just walk in and ask."
KK: "It's a risk, I know. But Lionel is out of town this week, we can get in and out with all the proof we need to prove he's pulling the strings on the whole alien invasion. We can find out what his plan is and expose him."
ED: "Break into Lionel's penthouse? What about security?"
KK: "I can get us in and out, but we won't have long. It'll take both of us to search the penthouse in time."
ED: "Alright."
KK: "You should wear that. You'll need a disguise."
ED: "I think I'll handle my own wardrobe from here on out."
MR: And we go back to the fun with my new battle suit.
KK: We simply cut to a shot of Hope pointing her pistol. She aims carefully and fires.
MR: We do a 180 to see the battle suit's shield activate and the bullet fall harmlessly to the ground. "Very good. Now, try the rocket launcher."
AoT: Hope lifts the rocket launcher onto her shoulder looking nervous. "Are you sure about this sir?"
MR: "Doctor?"
KK: "Don't worry Mr. Luthor, that shield could be hit by a cruise-missile without taking damage."
MR: "It better be able to take more than that. Don't forget, we are going to be taking on a whole alien army."
KK: "Of course."
MR: "Now" taking a step away from everyone, "fire when when ready Hope."
AoT: "Yessir." She fires a missle which blows up harmlessly against the shield."
MR: "Good." Lex jumps up in the air and the boot's rockets activate, flying him up to the highest balcony. He then just leans back and drops straight down. The shield activating as he hits the ground. He stands back up. "Very nice, I didn't even feel a bump."
KK: And we zoom in on a smiling Lex and then blackout and go to commercials.
